Buildings with open DOB violations and nobody filing to fix them.

What happens next

  1. We reply within one business day and confirm your boroughs and the jobs you take.
  2. We build your list, add your firm’s own work as the city has it, and a person reads it before you do.
  3. You work the leads. If they hold up, ask for next week’s.

What you get, page by page.

A sample with fictional parties. Your list has the same pages, for buildings in your boroughs.

Your firm’s own work

SampleThe last pages of every list

Your list ends with your firm’s own work as the city has it, so you can check us against jobs you know. None of it is a lead, and the owners are not named.

What every list checks, and what it does not.

The last page of every list says this, so you know what you are holding.

Checked

  • Every violation cited is open in the city’s own record, read the day the list is made. Each one links to it.
  • The address is the building’s own address in the city’s records, not the owner’s mailing address.
  • Nobody has an open DOB job filing on the lot.
  • No architect or engineer has an unfinished DOB job on the lot.
  • The owner of record is the buyer on the latest deed in the city’s deed records (ACRIS).
  • The city’s text on these violations names no construction superintendent and no permitted job.

Not checked

  • Whether the owner reads mail.
  • Whether someone is already helping the owner without filing anything with the city.
  • Whether any penalty has been paid. The amounts are what OATH imposed.
