What is open on your building, and what it means.

One building, one report: every open violation in the city's own words, what each status means, every summons with its hearing date, how the building compares with others its size, and the rest of what the city holds on it, on a cover you can forward.

Emailed within one business day, because a person reads every report before it goes out. If it tells you nothing you did not already know, reply and we refund it.

The questions it answers.

HPD Online, DOB BIS and OATH show the same records, one violation or one summons at a time. The report puts them together and says what they add up to.

What exactly is open?

Every open HPD violation and OATH/ECB summons, each with the city's own words and the certify-by date printed on its notice.

Is it being fixed?

Which way the building is heading over 180 days, the certifications filed since 2023, and how many HPD sent back.

What do the statuses mean?

Each status on the building, how many violations carry it, and what it means in plain words.

What is pending at a hearing?

Every summons with its hearing date, and the penalties imposed on the ones already decided. A pending case stays labeled pending.

How does it compare?

Its open Class C violations against every building its size in its borough, counted two ways from the city's data.

What else does the city hold?

The facade rating, DOB violations and permits, vacate and emergency repair orders, housing court, complaints, rent stabilization, energy, Local Law 97, and boiler and bedbug filings, wherever they exist.

What it will never say.

These are permanent, and they are the reason the rest can be trusted.

Days until your deadline

No per-case deadline field exists in the city data. We never invent a clock.

A running total of your fines

The city’s data gives the penalty each decision set and any amount still pending. The report never adds them into a running total.

How your hearing will go

The city publishes a result after the hearing. We report what happened, not a forecast.

That nothing is missing

A condition never reported to the city is not in the city's data, so it is not in the report. A clean report is not a guarantee.

If the data does not back it, the report does not say it.

Which building.
