What happens next
HPD says the violation is subject to civil penalties for false certification, and a false certification may put the owner on HPD's Certification Watchlist. A Dismissal Request reinspection may be required before the violation is dismissed.
What to do
Correct the condition properly, then file a Dismissal Request: an application with a fee, and HPD says new violations may be issued during the reinspection.
