Tell us your firm, borough, and practice. We prepare a sample case file in your feed's shape, hand-checked before it ships, and walk it with you. No committed volume, no card.

What the file will never say.

Before you tell us anything, here is what we refuse to put in a brief. These are permanent.

Days until the deadline

No per-case deadline field exists in the city data. We never invent a clock.

A running total of fines

The city’s data gives the penalty each decision set and any amount still pending. We never add them into a running total.

Whether the owner neglected it

No field describes what an owner knows or has decided. Inference is not evidence.

How the hearing will go

The city publishes a result after the hearing. We report what happened, not a forecast.

If the data does not back it, the brief does not say it.

How every claim is graded, See a sample case file

We reply from hello@violationscout.com. Your details are used to prepare the sample and nothing else. Privacy.

What happens next

  1. We reply within one business day and confirm scope: borough, practice, what a billable lead looks like for you.
  2. We build the sample file the same way as a paid one, every check included, and a person reads it before you do.
  3. You get the file and the source links, and tear it apart. If it holds up, we configure your standing feed.

Every case below is a sample with fictional parties, in the exact shape a subscriber receives: the claim, why it matters now, and the link to the city page behind it.

905 Fen Street

Sample

Bronx, Tier 1  91

22 open Class C

Why now

22 open Class C hazards across Vermin and Heat categories. Registration lapsed April 2026.

Recommended next step

Renew the HPD registration, then correct and certify the hazardous items.

Requires-verificationregistration lapsed; the file flags it instead of hiding it

A sample case file shows the exact shape first. Fictional parties; a live brief links to the real city pages.

One registered office, five buildings, one conversation.

A single lookup never shows you the pattern. When the same registered contact turns up across buildings with open hazards, five separate problems become one relationship, with one contact on file. We link buildings only when the registrations match exactly, never on a guess.

Sample: fictional entity, fictional buildings.
